Surprise!!! Don't you just love surprises as much as I do?? And I do!!
My whole life has completely changed since I last updated in July, or at least a big
chunk of it. My doctor put me on Beta Blockers and I feel great! Fixed the BP, and
completely stopped any traces of menopause as well as I can't tell you how many pounds
I've lost... I am guessing that they also helped raise my metabolism.. or something..
Whatever they have done, I look and feel better than I think I ever have because I
have the mental and emotional parts all together along with the physical stuff. And it
isn't one of those, where things are going so good that you just know that the other
shoe is going to drop and things will fall apart again. Nope! Not at all. It feels
too calm as well as good to be that.
I look a bit like I'm singing or something. :) Well, I should have been a rock star. :)
I have the attitude for it. :) And not too bad a singing voice as long as the music is
in my key. But when it isn't, I still sing. If we ever get together.. and we might some
time... You never know... if the music gets playing.. make sure you bring ear plugs or
something. :)

I bought a new-to-me car too. 1998 Chevy Malibu LS... White and fancy schmancy.. :) I
gave my other little car to a charity that repairs them using students who need the
training, and then they give the cars free to a family who really needs a car so that
they can get ahead in life. Will always say... Help others.. Help yourself!
Speaking of help others... Next week, October 20, 2005, I will be participating in the
Northern Florida Chapter Light The Night Walk. The Light The Night Walk is The Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society's nationwide evening walk. Funds raised will support their mission
to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma - and to improve the quality
of life of patients and their families. I have placed a
special link for one family who are friends of mine. If anyone is interested in
finding out more about this, there is a link to Light the Night on their site. More
incentive for you to go look. :)
Well, that about updates everything. Oh, a couple months ago I got a nice fat raise
thanks to several very special people at work and in my life now. And about a month ago,
I took a long drive in the country.. finally getting to see some of Florida after being
here 3 years... Anyway, I was driving down this little back road near one of the
kazillion lakes here and right next to the road were three egrets. They were so close
I could almost touch them! They looked so majestic and beautiful it took my breath
away... I love that!
So, until next time... Chin up and Cheerio! Maybe someone will put together a walk for
all us sickos who have this side of a messed up auto-immune system. Poor us.. the only
ones who pay much attention to us are us. But with each year, and I've been looking for
years... we get a little more attention than the year before. It takes time.. and a
good swift kick in the right patootie.. :) Look to the Future! I tell ya! And for fun,
smile awhile! :) It can be a great stress reliever! :) Sue --{--{-@
